I have several passions include technology, travel, and personal finance.

I began my smart home journey utilizing Samsung SmartThings around 2017. I was a SmartThings user for approximately 6 years before I transitioned to Home Assistant in 2023. We have hundreds of smart devices including lights, switches, and tons and tons of sensors.

On the travel front, we enjoy cruising and visiting amusement parks. We are pass holders for HersheyPark. We are recent pass holders of Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resorts, and Six Flags. We have vacationed on numerous cruises, traveled across the country for work, and traveled for vacations in a travel trailer for 7 years from Canada to Tennessee and South Carolina.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and I am an inactive CPA (Certified Public Accountant). Most of my work experience has been accounting and project management. I am particularly passionate about automations and eliminating mundane, unnecessary tasks in my work environment as well as my personal life.
